Implementation & Support
There are a number of key end points that make it possible for us to rapidly extend CentricMinds to meet very specific requirements and yet maintain it as a generic and modular product. Uniquely, these end points are not only available to 3rd party developers to use but our customers have access to do likewise. These end points include:
The front-end user interface of CentricMinds is provided through a completely configurable set of pages, associated templates and style sheets. Customizations can be made directly through the web interface and range from simple point and click configuration, through to advanced support for coding and scripting. Advanced technical customizations are supported through:
CentricMinds provides a comprehensive library of 'out of the box' controls (or widgets) that can be quickly and easily configured and used within the CentricMinds user interface. With over 100+ controls, CentricMinds provides a user friendly, non-technical interface for choosing and configuring controls to provide a rich web experience in areas of content presentation, documents & media, navigation & discovery, social engagement and more.
As an advanced feature, the Control Library also provides the flexibility for allowing customers to create their own Controls (using the Java programming language) and thus providing an extensible framework for future development.

CentricMinds provides a comprehensive API for interaction with content stored and presented. This includes both read access (to access / download content stored and managed within CentricMinds) and also write access (to publish / synchronize content into CentricMinds and/or access and trigger authoring / administration functionality).
CentricMinds has a background maintenance task called JobManager, which performs tasks such as search indexing, notifications etc. The JobManager is a multi-thread service that has an extensible framework for adding in custom tasks as needed to provide frequency based actions (such as adding in polling / synchronizing of content from other applications and more).
